When fashion meets technology
When the late Alexander McQueen incorporated technology into the end of his Spring Summer show in 1999, the fashion world was held captive and inspired by the endless possibilities that technology could bring to fashion.
Fellow designer Hussein Chalayan followed suit in 2007, incorporating animatronic dresses into his show which changed the outfits as the models walked down the runway. He also went on to use lasers in his SS 2008 show:
A store in Japan recently introduced digital clothes hangers as a form of digital marketing. The hangers use a RFID chip that has the capability to interact with digital displays around the product and can be used to configure different images or even music. It also means shops can monitor how much interest a particular product receives from customers.

Fashionable Pets
It seems that pets are currently having their moment in the world of fashion after the late designer Alexander McQueen famously left his three dogs £50,000 in his will.
According to an article in Vogue, a new book called Archie is also soon to be published. 'Meet Archie, the adorable canine with a knack for tailoring. Follow his fashion antics as he dresses London's most dapper dogs in this comic tale by writer and artist Domenica More Gordon. We're smitten. And apparently Brad Pitt is already a fan, too.'
Additionally, designer Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette who is famous for having two of her own maids and her own iPad now has a twitter account.
